I still remember the first time I held a crochet hook in my hands. My grandmother on my dad’s side, who we all called Ma, patiently showed me how to make my first stitches as we sat side-by-side.
Her hands moved with such grace and purpose, creating beautiful gifts that she weaved bits of her personality and ours into. I was hooked (pun fully intended!).These crocheted cherries remind me so much of those special times with Ma.

FAQs for This Crocheted Cherries Pattern:
What skill level is this pattern best for?
It’s great for beginners! If you know how to chain, single crochet, and do some basic shaping, you’ll be good to go.
What can I use these cherries for?
So many things! They’re adorable as keychains, zipper pulls, ornaments, or strung together into a fruity garland. Use them as party favors, add to hats, headbands, or hair ties, or add them to your kids’ play kitchen. You could even add one to a gift for a delightful handmade touch.
Can I use different yarn weights?
Absolutely! Just adjust your hook size accordingly. Thinner yarns will make daintier cherries, while chunky yarns will give you a bold, squishy look.
How do I keep the cherries round and puffy?
Use Polyfil stuffing and shape them as you go. A small crochet hook suitable to your yarn weight helps keep the stitches tight so the stuffing doesn’t peek through.
