Can you believe we’re only a week away from the end of July? How’s your summer going? It’s been pretty rainy here so I’ve been taking advantage of the time inside by getting some work done around the house. The weather is supposed to be better on Wednesday though. so we’re meeting some extended family at Storybook Gardens. If you’re anywhere near London, Ontario and have kids, you’ve got to check it out. It’s a small but really fun place to take them that includes climbers of various types, slides, ball pits, music/storytime/puppet shows, a trampoline type thing (they call it a giant pillow!), a kid sized village of buildings to play in, and more.
The venue even has a few amusement park rides and a splash pad! There’s something to do from toddler sized kids right up to about ages 10-12. Outside Storybook Gardens in Springbank Park, there is a carousel and a kid sized train ride that have been fun traditions for as long as I can remember. It makes for a great day out and I can hardly wait. (And no, it’s not just because they now have a Beavertails restaurant there too but that is an added bonus!)
