This peach slaw is a delicious side dish – serve it with pretty much anything and everything! Sweet and spicy, I find that the flavor complements that of baked beans really well so they’re a good combination to serve together.
Pasta salads, potato salads, coleslaw – aren’t summer foods wonderful? I have my favorite recipes for all of these, but I do love to play around with different flavor combinations and come up with some new options too.
This Peach Slaw may be the new kid on the block in our home, but it has become a staple in our summer meal plans. Not only that, but this slaw served as a topper on a pork burger or sausage on a bun is simply divine! Try it on these Instant Pot Pulled BBQ Chicken Sliders. YUM!
Make this an extra quick and easy side dish recipe by starting with bagged coleslaw mix. Want to get a little bit crazy and try a variation on this? Instead of using the typical coleslaw mix, try broccoli, cauliflower, or beet slaw. Yum!
It takes mere minutes to mix this salad up. You can make it ahead of time and then keep it in the fridge until ready to serve. Even if it “wilts” a bit after a few days, it still tastes yummy. In fact, that’s when I think it’s simply perfect for topping burgers and sausages.
Want to kick this recipe up a notch or two? Try grilling the peaches first! The slightly smoky flavor adds another really tasty dimension to this recipe.
