Bunny Butt Parmesan Cheese Ball

My mom always made cheeseballs for pretty much every special occasion and these always remind me of her. They’re so easy to make and versatile! Everyone always smiles when I serve these because they’re so cute and that brings me right back to those parties my mom hosted and how joyful they were too.

FAQs

How long will this keep in the fridge?

According to experts, if you keep any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge, it will keep for up to two weeks, depending on the best before dates on the individual ingredients you are using. In my experience, I find that after 3-4 days (if they last that long in my house!) it starts to dry out a bit and it loses some flavor.

Can I Make This Ahead of Time?

You can easily assemble this yummy Easter snack in 20 minutes or less. Chill in the fridge for at least an hour or overnight. This is a fantastic make-ahead holiday dish!

What is the best way to serve this?

Serve chilled alongside crackers or veggies. To enhance spreadability, let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before serving.

Can I switch up the flavors?

Definitely! Swap the parmesan–dill mix for other cheese blends or seasonings. For instance:
Italian‑style – mix cream cheese with shredded parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Bacon & cheddar twist – fold in crispy bacon and aged cheddar.
Just roll in your chosen coating and shape as usual

Any ideas for alternative coatings or decorations?

Try using Italian blend cheese instead of plain parmesan .

Can I make individual-sized bunny bites?

Yes! Try mini versions like Mini Cheese Ball Bunnies, where each bite-sized ball gets its own little cream cheese tail and cheese-feet. They are perfect for kids or party grazing.
