Chocolate Dipped Peeps for Spring

Filed Under: Easter, CELEBRATE, COOK, Desserts

These Chocolate Dipped Peeps, though, might just be my all-time favorite way to use Peeps. I mean, if there’s one thing that could make Peeps better, it’s dipping them in chocolate. Right??? Best of all, they’re super simple to make too. You’ll be done in a flash!

These chocolatey Peeps are perfect treats for Easter or just any old spring day. They take only a few minutes to make and add a fun and festive touch to a holiday classic. They are perfect for a party or to send in for a school celebration.

If you have been hanging around my blog for a while, you know how much I love Peeps. In fact, you’ll find quite a few craft and food ideas using Peeps if you do a quick search of Creative Cynchronicity.  They’re so cute and colorful and just scream spring to me!

You also have to check out these Peeps whoopie pies that I found! Inspired by Peeps but made with homemade marshmallows, these are a must try for your Easter celebration.

  1. Melt chocolate in a microwave safe bowl in the microwave on high, stirring every 15 to 20 seconds until melted. Do not overheat as the chocolate will seize. If the chocolate becomes too thick, you can add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil or vegetable shortening. Do not add water.

  2. Separate Peeps and dip each individually in melted chocolate.

  3. Immediately press the melted chocolate side of the Peep into sprinkles. Place on waxed paper until set.
