Weekly Summer Menu Plan July 30

I don’t know about you but I’m happily living in denial that August is beginning. Summer is flying by and I’m holding onto it with a death grip. It’s funny. I don’t like heat and humidity. So, generally I’m more of a spring and fall kind of person (not caring for ice and snow either). But this year, I’m just really wanting to savor summer.

This week, we’re headed off to see Mamma Mia 2 at Stars and Strollers. I can’t wait. I have always loved the music of ABBA so I can’t wait to see how they bring it to life in yet another movie. This weekend is Rib Fest. It’s a little bittersweet – Rib Fest used to coincide with the Hot Air Balloon Festival (which has since been cancelled). That was always a favorite family tradition. But you know, there are loads of fun summer festivals here in London, so there’s plenty of new family traditions ready to be made.
