Teacher Pencil Craft

Filed Under: Teacher Gifts, Back to School, CELEBRATE, CREATE

How cute is this teacher pencil craft? It’s really quick and easy to make and is the perfect teacher appreciation gift.

You can put a plant in it (real or fake) or fill it with pencils or other supplies that a teacher can make use of. They’ll love placing this on their desk and it’s sure to bring a smile to their faces every time they see it.

Teacher Pencil Craft

Supplies:

Medium Size Flower pot (mine was from dollar tree)

Black Sharpie or marker

Paint Brush

Waverly Ballet Slipper Chalk Paint (these are non-toxic and kid friendly)

Waverly Mineral Chalk Paint

Waverly Maize Chalk Paint

Instructions:

Start by painting the large bottom section of the pot with the Maize chalk paint. (I did 2 coats and let it fully dry in between each coat)

Next paint the top section with the ballet slipper chalk paint (this only needed one coat)

After the top section has completely dried, paint the middle section with the mineral chalk paint

Next using the sharpie or black marker write No. 2 and style and enjoy!

Crocheted Sunflower Granny Square

Two granny squares with a sunflower in the center of each. Sunflower is golden yellow with a dark brown center. On one square, the flower is surrounded by white and on the other it's surrounded by blue.
