It’s an easy way to spark creativity and make snack time feel special.

Snow Globe Charcuterie Snacks
Use a variety of cheeses (mozzarella, blue cheese, and any firm cheese for cut-outs), add crackers and pretzels, tuck in some fruit, and for a sweet surprise, include a few chocolate Christmas shapes.
If you’re not a fan of blue cheese, find another semi-soft cheese to hold up your snowmen. Something like a firm goat cheese or feta cheese would be a possibility.
Rosemary sprigs make perfect “trees,” and small cookie cutters transform cheese or fruit into stars and snowflakes. Finish it all with a sprinkle of coconut flakes that look just like freshly fallen snow.
Top each board with a clear dome — we used disposable cupcake container lids — to complete that classic snow globe look and keep everything fresh.
This recipe makes 3 individual snow globe snacks. You can increase according to your needs.
Ingredients

- 3 1/2 ounces salami – a guide to different types of salami
- 9 mini mozzarella balls
- 1 ounce hard cheese
- 1/3 ounce blue cheese
- 3 chocolate Christmas figures
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 3 dried apricots
- 1 tablespoon cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon chopped walnuts
- 1/2 tangerine, separated
- A few cranberries
- 3 large pretzels
- 1/4 cup small graham crackers
- 3 mini chili peppers
- 1 tablespoon coconut flakes
- 1 teaspoon honey

Instructions

1. Make the cheese shapes.
Use mini cookie cutters to cut the hard cheese into stars and snowflakes.
Skewer the mozzarella balls with toothpicks to create tiny snowmen.

2. Shape the salami roses.
Fold two slices of salami in half, nest them together to form the center, then cut the remaining slices in half and wrap them around the core to create petals.

3. Prepare the stuffed dried apricots.
Fill each dried apricot with about 1 teaspoon of cream cheese, then roll the edges in chopped walnuts.

4. Create the snowy domes.
Brush the inside of each dome (such as a disposable cupcake lid) with honey. Sprinkle with coconut flakes so they stick to the surface like snow. Shake off any excess.

5. Assemble the snow globes.
Place a large pretzel on each mini board — this acts as a border to hold everything in place.
Fill the pretzel ring with:
• one salami rose
• a handful of small graham crackers
• a sprig of rosemary
• the stuffed apricots
• a small piece of blue cheese with a mozzarella snowman perched on top
• tangerine pieces
• cheese stars and snowflakes
• a chocolate Christmas figure
• a few cranberries and a mini chili pepper for colour
Repeat for all three servings. Finish each globe with a sprinkle of coconut flakes for that snowy illusion.

Carefully place the domes over each board until it’s time to serve.
