Woohooo! It’s March and I am over the moon about it. Of course, we’re still alternating between spring-like weather and snow but that’s pretty typical of this time of year. And I saw some crocuses poking their heads up in my front yard so that’s another big sign that spring really is right around the corner. I’m looking to lighten up my meal plans a bit as more fresh produce becomes available. Yum! On this week’s menu plan, we’re trying out a couple new meals (Monday and Tuesday) and then adding in some familiar favourites the rest of the week. Bon appetit!
Menu Plan for Week of March 5th
Monday:
Chicken Burgers with Apple Cabbage Slaw, oven fries, raw veggies and Ranch dip
Tuesday:
Pizza Skillet Pasta, Caesar salad, garlic bread
Wednesday:
Sheet Pan Teriyaki Chicken and Vegetables, Rice
Thursday:
Maple Mustard Pork Tenderloin, egg noodles, green beans, corn
Friday:
Lemon Goat Cheese Spinach Frittata (note: substituting spinach for the fiddleheads because I haven’t seen any fiddleheads in store yet), tossed salad
Saturday:
Potato Chip Chicken Fingers (trust me, they are delicious!), macaroni salad, coleslaw
Sunday:
My World Famous Pot Roast with Potatoes and Carrots, peas, dinner rolls
What will you be having for dinner this week?

I think my crocuses are still hidden under the snow! Yay, Spring is almost here! Your meal plan sounds yummy. 🙂

Thanks! We try for simple but yummy food around here. Yes, we keep having snowfall and then it melts and then more snowfall and then it melts. So, I get to see the crocuses every few days. Just waiting for that one last melting of the snow for the season….:)
