Toddler Travel Kit - Road Trip with Your Toddler Stress Free

My little grand nephew Sawyer and his mom Katy have become big fans of Gerber® Lil’ BeaniesTM toddler snacks and they want to tell you more about them!

One of our favorite family activities is loading up the car and going to visit Sawyer’s cousins who live a few hours away. It used to be just a matter of grabbing the diaper bag and the baby and away we went! However, with Sawyer a toddler now, these trips require some special planning. My sister is expecting another baby – in fact, she is being induced Monday evening! – and so we really need to get everything arranged so we can head down there and meet the new little cousin. I decided to put together a “travel kit” that we could pack up, hang in the closet, and grab anytime we got the urge to head out on a little road trip.

Gerber Toddler Snacks for Healthy Snacks on the Go

Gerber® Lil’ BeaniesTM are a Win-Win. Mom Loves How Healthy They Are and Toddler Loves the Great Taste.

First thing we did was to head to Walmart to pick up a few supplies. As I planned my shopping list, I knew that we would need some activities and snacks to help make the ride smoother for everyone. A few months ago we tried Gerber® Lil’ BeaniesTM and they were a huge hit with Sawyer. If I keep them in a cupboard where he can reach them, he will go for them every time! Lil’ Beanies are made of navy beans. They have 2 grams of protein and 1 gram of fiber in each serving. There are two different flavors, Original and White Cheddar and Broccoli. Sawyer absolutely loves both of them. This was a win-win for me and him. A healthy and nutritious snack that passed the mom radar and a delicious and easy-to-eat snack that Sawyer loved – all in one!

The Snacks are Mess-Free & Non-Perishable – Perfect for Popping into a Toddler Travel Kit and Taking on the Go!

The snack fit perfectly into our “travel kit” that we will use when we will be in the car for long periods of time. I love that they don’t require refrigeration so we don’t need to worry about keeping them cold and safe to eat. Also in our travel kit are fruit pouches, cookies, crayons and paper, toy cars, and an adorable color matching game that we made at home. All of these things guarantee that we will have a smooth car ride and make great memories with our family!

If you make a travel kit for your little one, you might also want to add a snuggly toy, a blanket for naptime, and some wet wipes. Gerber® Lil’ BeaniesTM are a great mess-free snack to take with you as you’re on the go, but let’s face it. They’re toddlers. They are going to get messy some other way! Other items that might be good to add for older kids are books, juice boxes, or a travel bingo game.

Whatever you do though, don’t forget the Gerber® Lil’ BeaniesTM .  They’re a tasty addition to any snack time. If you’ve never tried them before, now’s a great time to head over to Walmart and purchase some for yourself. While supplies last, you can even take advantage of an iBotta rebate on them. So, hurry up! Go get some for yourself – they have meet Sawyer’s stringent standards and have his seal of approval. They are perfect for our busy and on-the-go life!
