This lilac bunny soap is perfect for adding to your bathroom for Easter – or really, all spring long! The floral scent is delightful, and the cute little bunny design makes for a practical and decorative soap.

You can make these bunny soaps for yourself or as a gift – pop them into someone’s Easter basket! They’re an ideal basket filler for teens and adults.

DIY Lilac Bunny Soap

Remember that you can adjust the color, fragrance, and even shape of this soap as you’d like. Follow the basic instructions below, adjusting quantities as needed.

You’ll find lots of supplies for soapmaking on Amazon, but be sure to check your local dollar store too. They often have the materials you need to make a variety of soap shapes and scents available.

Supplies Needed:

  • 3 – 1×1” cubes of goat’s milk soap base (roughly ¼ lb)
  • ¼ tsp lavender mica powder
  • 20 drops lilac fragrance oil
  • Bunny mold – The one pictured below is available at Walmart in Easter baking aisle or there is this bunny mold from Amazon
  • Microwave-safe measuring cup with spout
  • Wooden craft stick for stirring
  • Spray bottle with rubbing alcohol

Instructions:

1 – Cut the soap base into 1×1 inch cubes and place them into a measuring cup.

2 – Add a small amount of rubbing alcohol and the mica to a small bowl. Stir well until thoroughly combined.

3 – Heat the soap base in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds and stir well. It should all be melted. If not, heat for another 5-10 seconds.

4 – Add liquified mica and fragrance oil. Stir well.

5 – Pour into the mold.

5 – Let this set for about 30 minutes.
