How cute is this paper dragonfly craft? And it’s so easy to make. Little ones might need some assistance from an adult or older child, but this craft is great practice for cutting and gluing skills.
Make them in any color you would like. You can make a whole swarm of dragonflies and hang them from string to make a mobile or add a piece of magnetic tape on the back of them to use them on your fridge.
Paper Dragonfly Craft
Since these are made from very economical materials (you can likely find all you need at your local dollar store), these are great craft projects to make with a group like Brownies, Vacation Bible School, or at a camp.
Supplies needed:
- Colored craft paper
- Pencil
- A pair of scissors
- Craft glue
- Googly eyes

Step 5:
Take the base cutout and glue the big cylinder shape at an open end of the base strip.
Step 6:
Glue the other (small) paper cylinder shapes on the base cutout.
Step 7:
Glue the smallest paper cylinder shape at the end.
Step 8:
Glue 2 googly eyes on the top side of the big cylinder shape (the head of the paper dragonfly).
Step 9:
Glue the body base of the dragonfly in the middle of the wing pattern to complete the craft.
