London’s 5th Annual Zombie Walk

On Sunday it was the 5th annual zombie walk here in London, Ontario but it was my first time attending.  I was intrigued when I heard about it and although I didn’t dress up, I did go to take some pictures and see what it was all about.

There was quite a crowd gathered to take part in this and I was surprised by the diversity.  There were all ages there, right down to babies in strollers and some people even brought their (zombie) dogs with them!

Once gathered, they set off to shuffle and moan their way through downtown London.  There were all kinds of zombies – as I said before, dog zombies, baby zombies, but also doctors, nurses, priests, cops, brides and grooms, chefs, people dressed in pjs and robes as if just pulled from bed – you name it and it was likely to be there!

I have to say, it was the zombie babies and dogs that freaked me out!

Maybe next year, I’ll join the zombie fun instead of being a spectator!
