Instructions:
Step 1:
Select different colored craft papers for the patterns and cardstock for the bookmark (body of each character) base.
Trace bookmarks base (rectangle shape) on the cardstock and cut them out. Trace the rest of the items/ patterns on the appropriate colored craft papers and cut them out as well.
Step 2:
Let’s create the Frankenstein and Dracula bookmarks first. Attach the hair cutouts on any one of the narrow sides of the bookmark base. We chose a green base for the Frankenstein bookmarks and a purple base for the Dracula.
Step 3:
Attach the pants cutouts near the bottom part of the base.
Step 4:
Attach the jacket or coat cutouts right above the pants.
Step 5:
Attach the shirt cutouts along the middle of the jacket/ coat patterns.
Step 6:
To finish the Dracula bookmark, attach the bow tie cutout near the top of the shirt.
Step 7:
Use a Sharpie to draw Dracula’s face. Add teeth cut out of white paper.
Step 8:
Attach the cape cutout on the backside of the Dracula bookmark.
Step 9:
To finish off the Frankenstein bookmark, attach the bolt cutouts on both sides of the head part.
Step 10:
Use a black Sharpie to draw the face and buttons on Frankenstein.
Step 11:
Prepare the other patterns and craft the mummy/ witch bookmarks in a similar fashion.
