7UP Biscuits Recipe You Will Love

These 7UP Biscuits are BY FAR the best biscuits I’ve ever tasted (and I am SUPER fussy about biscuits – most I don’t care for so this is saying a lot!). They’re so easy to make and you will want to make them again and again.

7UP Biscuits Recipe You Will Love

Just wait until you see the ingredient list for this – only FOUR ingredients are needed. Now, you CAN add some herbs like rosemary if you want to change the flavor a bit, but they aren’t necessary.

Ingredients:

2 cups baking mix, like Bisquick

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup 7UP

1/4 cup melted butter

4 ingredient biscuits

Instructions:

Cut the sour cream into the baking mix.

Add the 7UP and mix well together into a soft dough.

Sprinkle out some of the baking mix to cover your work surface, place the dough on top and pat it out.

I found my dough to be beyond soft – it was gooey and needed to sprinkle extra baking mix over it in order to be able to cut it.

Sometimes I find that I’m not able to use a biscuit cutter and found that simply cutting into squares with a knife worked better at times like that.

Pour the melted butter into a 9 inch square baking pan.  Place the biscuits in the pan on top of the butter.

Bake at 450 degrees F for about 12-15 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown.

so easy to make and so delicious these 7up biscuits are amazing

Can you freeze these biscuits?

The answer is yes, but if your family is like mine, you will need to double or triple the recipe in order to have any leftover that you can freeze. We tend to devour these!

If you want to freeze them, I have found they must be baked first. I didn’t have any luck with freezing the dough.

Completely cool the biscuits on a wire rack. You need to wrap them well or place in freezer bags to keep them from drying out and getting freezer burn.

I warm them up straight from the freezer in the microwave (15-30 seconds on high or 30-60 seconds on low works well in mine) or wrapped in foil and placed in a 300 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes.

This Irish Soda bread is another bread recipe we really love!
