Fall Craft: Make a Fall Leaf Bowl for Thanksgiving

This fall leaf bowl is quick, easy, and inexpensive to make.  You can use real leaves or artificial ones and make them in a variety of sizes.  Perfect for Thanksgiving or really any time during Autumn.  Check out the video tutorial below.

Variations on the Fall Leaf Bowl:

As you can see, you can adjust the sizes and heights of the bowls quite easily. Make the fall leaf bowl shallow like I did and add some simple mini pumpkins, gourds, and other such autumn themed items for a fun centerpiece for Thanksgiving or any fall get-together. Or make it deeper and you can fill it with an assortment of nuts. Put this on your coffee table with a few nutcrackers and your guests can help themselves while waiting for dinner. I’ve even added a clear glass bowl to the middle of the leaf bowl. Now it can hold liquids and other items of food while still showcasing the fall leaf design.

Ways to Decorate with the Fall Leaf Bowl

Placed in the center or your table with a few candles on either side and you have a lovely tablescape that’s simple and quick to put together. For something a little more elaborate, make several smaller leaf bowls. Place a burlap runner down the middle of the table. Alternate pumpkins and leaf bowls. You could fill some with harvest coloured candy corn or nuts or even dinner rolls while the rest could hold tealights. Use your imagination! There are so many creative ways to use these fall leaf bowls.

This is such a cute idea! I would have to use fake leaves because the leaves don’t fall where I am from! 🙂 They used to though when I lived in New England.
