We’ve only been here at Parkbridge Resorts, Melody Bay for 18 hours and already we never want to leave! Above right is the first view I had upon arriving at the park. Just gorgeous! All of the tension of my work week immediately left my body and I felt instantly relaxed. But before we started to really enjoy our surroundings, we headed off to our cottage to settle in.
The accommodations were awesome with a master bedroom and two bedrooms equipped with bunkbeds. Of course, the kids were super excited about that and couldn’t wait to unpack and set up their rooms for the weekend!
After a yummy dinner cooked on the BBQ, we headed over to the Kids’ Club for an evening of ball hockey, basketball, shuffleboard, and playing on the playground. We sure were tired out and ready for bed after all that fun!
This morning, while waiting for breakfast to be ready, we borrowed one go the DVDs from the lounge to watch. It’s so great to have a resource like that – the lounge is filled with books, magazines, and DVDs that you can borrow and use back at your own cottage. There are even more movies and even board games to borrow over at the Kids’ Club. After all, there might be a rainy day here and there!
The kids could barely contain their excitement, anxious to get to one of the heated salt water pools! I have to admit, I could hardly wait either!
After several hours of swimming, playing water basketball and with all the other awesome water toys (or just using the pool noodles and inflatable tubes they had available there to float around 🙂 ), we pretty much had to drag everyone out of the pool to get some lunch.
Parkbridge Resort adventure to be continued…

Glad you enjoyed your time at Melody Bay. I was there many decades ago when there was only 5 campsites and loved every minute of it. Came back decades later when it was still Melody Bay. We all had to leave when ownership changed hands. My heart still broken from this move. I*m on Rice Lake now in a small Camp that very much reminds me of Melody Bay…I just hope it stays this way.
Melody Bay is there now for new people to make new memories but these memories will not come close to the ones I still have. Nancy
