This Wednesday there are two exciting events going on online that I will be a part of. The first is the @LinkedMoms Twitter Party hosted by Margarita Ibbott (@downshiftingpos) and Paula Schuck (@inkscrblr). These parties are lots of fun and each week there’s a different topic of interest to parents and often, just anyone in general. Topics have included home organization, gluten free diets, and blogging among others. This week we’re going to be talking about crafting with your kids and I hope to be able to share lots of great ideas with the participants. Not only will it be a fun chat, but I have a giveaway for it as well! As many of you know, I am the social media coordinator for Charity Wings, an organization that brings crafters and charities together by hosting crafting events to raise money for noble causes. Our next event is LIVE from CHA – the Craft and Hobby Association Trade Show. On July 17 and 18 we’ll be streaming LIVE from CHAto bring you interviews and demonstrations from manufacturers and crafting celebrities so that you can take part in CHA from your home!
As part of this event, we’re selling tickets that give you the chance to win fantastic giveaways from leading manufacturers such as Mod Podge by Plaid, Westcott, iLoveToCreate, Prima, Graphic 45, Spellbinders, and more! Best of all, the money goes to help A Place to Bark, a no kill shelter and animal rescue which provides fostering and adoptions. Tickets are only $10 for one or you can get 5 for $20. I’m giving away one of these tickets during the #LinkedMoms chat to one lucky participant. Just follow the hashtag #LinkedMoms on Wed, July 11 from 8-9 pm Eastern to take part and to have your chance to win! (New to Twitter chats? I’d be glad to help you out if you have any questions about how to use it! Just email me at [email protected]) Following the #LinkedMoms chat, head on over to my weekly live webcast Creative Cynchronicity Live – I’ll be starting the actual show at 930 pm (so I have a little time between them to get set up) but feel free to just come directly from one to the other if you’d like to continue chatting for a bit before we get started. Or, take a little break, hit the bathroom, maybe get yourself set up with a snack and beverage before we get started. I’ll be demonstrating some fun projects you can make with your kids!
