Bacon Wrapped Brussels Sprouts

I know. You might be thinking that you don’t like Brussels sprouts. But I promise you – these are different. I have converted many people from sprouts haters to sprouts lovers with these Maple Glazed Bacon Wrapped Brussels Sprouts.

With only about 10 minutes of prep time, this Brussels sprouts recipe is easy to make. But best of all, it is packed with flavor. It’s definitely a must-try recipe. Maple Glazed Bacon Wrapped Brussels Sprouts

Add this recipe to your meal rotation. It’s quick and easy to make and you’re going to love the flavor. These Brussels sprouts are a great side dish for pretty much any main dish you want to serve them with.

Servings: 6

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

500 g Brussels sprouts, trimmed (approximately 5 1/2 cups)

200 g thinly sliced bacon – one slice per sprout (about 7 ounces)

2-3 tbsp maple syrup

Salt and pepper to taste

Toothpicks (to secure the bacon)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

2. If the Brussels sprouts are large, cut them in half. Smaller sprouts can be left whole.

3. Wrap each sprout with one slice of bacon, securing the ends with a toothpick.

4. Place the wrapped sprouts seam-side down on a baking sheet (with a rim) or in a baking dish lined with parchment paper.

5. Drizzle with maple syrup, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

6. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the sprouts are tender. Flip halfway through baking for even browning.

7. Remove from the oven, discard the toothpicks, and serve hot.
