If your family is anything like ours, we have those times where, on occasion, what we took out of the freezer for dinner, is still frozen. Or some last minute activity came up and now we don’t have time for the more elaborate meal we had originally planned.
In those cases, knowing that you have a well-stocked pantry and a supply of pantry recipes on hand can be a huge help.

20+ Pantry Staple Recipes
Some of our favorite pantry recipes:
Pierogi Casserole – use up leftover mashed potatoes or keep some in the freezer as needed (yes they get a bit watery but are fine for a recipe like this). You can even use the boxed kind!
Neapolitan Layered Pasta Casserole – we keep 1/4 lb. chunks of butter in the freezer so we always have some on hand for making sauces etc. Other than that, everything else in this recipe is a pantry staple.
