School Supplies Sleigh

Filed Under: Christmas, CELEBRATE, CREATE, Teacher Gifts

This school supplies sleigh is such a fun way to give a Christmas gift to your kid’s teacher. For years now, I’ve been making chocolate bar and candy sleighs as place cards, stocking stuffings, and neighbor gifts, but this variation is just perfect for all the educators in your life.

Gather up some much needed school supplies, a little chocolate treat, and a gift card, and you’re all set. This gift is so easy to assemble and sure to please and be much appreciated by any educators.

School Supplies Sleigh (Teacher Gift Idea)

Supplies:

  • 72 count Ticonderoga Wood Pencils
  • 12-inch wood ruler (2)
  • Elmer’s 3 pack washable glue sticks
  • 4×6 inch Post-it Notes, 4 pads per pack
  • 3×3 inch Post-it Notes, 4 pads per pack
  • Double-sided tape
  • Chocolate Santa
  • White curling ribbon (2 12-inch pieces)
  • Gift card
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue or Glue Dots

Directions:

Place double-sided tape onto the back of the 4×6 inch Post-it Notes, then stack them on top of the box of wood pencils.

Press double–sided tape onto the back of the pack of glue sticks, then stack them on top of the 4×6 inch Post-its.

Put double-sided tape onto the back of the 3×3 Post-its, then stack them on top of the glue sticks.

Place two 12-inch pieces of white curling ribbon under the stack of school supplies. Tie it around the school supplies.

String a gift card through the ribbon, then tie again. Curl the ribbon with scissors.

Use hot glue or Glue Dots to secure the chocolate Santa to the front of the sleigh.

Place the stack of school supplies onto two 12-inch rulers. Secure with double-sided tape.

Your sleigh is finished!
