We love lemon! Lemon in desserts, main dishes, side dishes – heck, we even like cleaning with lemon. So, I decided to gather up our favorite lemon recipes and share them with you here.

These are tried and true lemon recipes that we just love and we think you will too. Give them a try – they’re perfect for spring and summer, but most of them are delightful all year long too!

Our Favorite Lemon Recipes

Main Dishes

Lemon Ricotta Pancakes – Light and fluffy, these pancakes are easy to make and delicious. The bright citrus flavour and the creaminess of the ricotta is a match made in heaven.

Lemon Spaghetti – Lemon with pasta is a divine combination. Serve as a main or as a side alongside fish or chicken. This recipe comes from Giada DeLaurentiis’s restaurant.

Lemon Pepper Roast Chicken – This recipe is a family favorite. We have it at least twice a month. It’s simple to prepare but is juicy and flavorful.

Lemon Poppyseed Chicken Casserole – We first discovered poppyseed chicken on a trip down south and have been serving it ever since. The lemon really brightens up the flavor. Perfect for a potluck.

Foil Packet Citrus Orange Roughy – While this may have been made with fish, the same technique can be used with other proteins. It’s especially tasty with chicken! Prepare on your backyard grill or over a campfire.

Side Dishes

Lemon Fluff Salad – Is it salad or is it dessert? Who cares? This lemon fluff salad from Marathons & Motivation is a hit at any summer celebration. Personally, I’d serve it all year long. That’s how tasty it is.

Grilled Asparagus with Gremolata – The Gremolata here gives that burst of citrus flavor that is perfectly paired with the asparagus and takes it to the next level. Even if you’re not a fan of asparagus (and this recipe might change your mind!), you’ve got to check out the gremolata. Serve it on broccoli, green beans, chicken, or fish.

Lemon Roasted Greek Potatoes – This classic recipe from She’s Not Cooking is crispy on the outside and soft, with a touch of lemon, on the inside. A delicious traditional Greek recipe.

Desserts and Snacks

No Bake Frozen Lemonade Pie – This no bake pie practically screams summer with every bite. Cool, refreshing, and oh so easy to make. You’ll want to serve this again and again.

Lemon Pudding Cheesecake – I would say this recipe from Living Locurto had me at lemon but it had me at pudding and cheesecake too. It takes some of my favorite foods and puts them all together into a sweet and tangy no-bake dessert.

Lemonade Cookies – These cookies have that perfect balance of sour and sweet that delights the tastebuds.

Lemon Poppyseed Muffins – These muffins from Life Made Simple Bakes are a classic and a staple around our home. The hint of lemon in them makes them a lovely accompaniment to a cup of tea. They are a great addition to a weekend brunch.

Lemon Seed Snack Bites – The perfect little snack bite, these are nutritious and delicious. Include in a packed lunch, grab a couple for a breakfast on the go, or sit down and savor them with a cup of tea.

Lemon White Chocolate Truffles – Lemon + white chocolate. Need I say more? This tasty recipe from Cinnamon & Coriander makes a great gift.

Beverages

Strawberry Basil Lemonade – This may seem like an unusual flavor combination but they really complement and balance each other beautifully. Refreshing on a hot day!

Sparkling Maple Blueberry Lemonade – This is ideal for sipping while lounging in the shade on a hot sunny day. The tangy lemon comes together with the sweetness of the maple and blueberries to create a fresh and tasty beverage.

Passion Tea Lemonade – Inspired by the Starbucks favorite, we’ve added our own twist to this delightfully refreshing drink. Make up a pitcher for your next summer gathering.
