Have you ever used any skin care products with honey in them before? I find it so soothing and it makes my skin SO soft. Add it to the goat milk soap base, shea butter, and coconut oil and you have a luxurious soap to indulge in. Perfect for your next “ahhhh take me away” bath, don’t you think? (Did I just date myself with the “take me away” reference?) Here’s how to make this Honey Bee Glitter Soap Recipe:
Honey Bee Glitter Soap Recipe
Supplies:
- 1/2 lb. goat’s milk soap base
- 2 tablespoons Shea butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- Glitter
- Soap coloring (optional)
- Soap mold.
- Spritz bottle filled with rubbing alcohol
Instructions:
Step 1: Cut the goat’s milk soap base and place into a microwave safe bowl. Heat for 30 seconds.
Step 2: Add Shea butter to bowl and microwave at 30 second intervals until mixture is melted.
Step 3: Add coconut oil to bowl
Step 4: Add honey
Step 5: Add coloring to soap mixture
Step 6: Add glitter to the bowl and mix everything together.
Step 7: Gently pour or spoon soap mixture into mold.
Step 8: Spray the top of the soap with the rubbing alcohol. Allow to harden for at least an hour. Gently pop out and store in an airtight container or ziplock bag until ready to use.
