Anyone else here have a very special relationship with their slow cooker? I see some hands raising! In our home, we actually love them so much that we have 4 slow cookers. (Crazy? Not really!)
We have a mini one that is meant for appetizers – dips and that sort of thing. One that is a combination pressure cooker/slow cooker. A basic one that I’ve had since my daughter was little and a programmable one that has revolutionized my kitchen.
There have been times when we’re hosting a large dinner that we have all 4 going at once! They help keep the kitchen cooler in the summer and give me more cooking space for those big meals. Most of all, my slow cooker recipes keep me sane on those crazy busy hectic days when I need a prep it and forget it kind of meal.
