Are you a gingerbread fan? I’ll admit that as a child, I wasn’t too fond of it. It wasn’t something my family made – I don’t recall ever being served gingerbread at home or by my grandmothers. And to be honest, the first time I tried a gingerbread man cookie, I wasn’t impressed. I think it was just too much spice for me at that age.

I’ve always been enchanted by gingerbread though- the beautiful houses and adorable gingerbread creations just bring a smile to my face. And over the years, I’ve come to love the warm, comforting spices of many gingerbread desserts.
