Happy 4th of July! What have you got planned for the big celebration? It’s been quite a while since I got to be in the United States to take part in the birthday party but I’ll never forget each and every time I have been there.
I was born in the US and it’s a really special day for me because of that. I live only a couple hours away from Detroit and have been there a few times for combined Canada Day/4th of July festivities.
A few years ago I got to spend the day at my aunt and uncle’s for a big backyard BBQ with their friends. And, of course, I’ll never forget being there for America’s bicentennial. One thing holds true of all of those celebrations, big and small. Nobody does patriotic like the USA.
