This Milk for Santa Cricut Craft is positively adorable. I am a sucker for anything that’s Santa-themed at Christmas time and so this milk bottle is right up my alley.
It’s incredibly easy to make with the help of your die cutting machine and free SVG and PNG files are included. We recycled a bottle and used a scrap of leftover vinyl to make this so it is really economical too.
Milk for Santa Cricut Craft
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Supplies:
Black permanent adhesive vinyl
Transfer tape
Glass bottle
(We used a Starbucks frappuccino bottle- to remove the labels, just soak in hot water and dish soap for an hour, remove the labels and scrub.)
(You can also find the Milk for Santa PNG here)
Directions:
Cut a piece of your black vinyl, about 2 ½ inches x 4 inches.
Place it into your cutting mat and load it into your machine.
Open your Milk for Santa file, and size it to fit your bottle (we did ours about 2 inches wide).
Check your cut settings, use the settings recommended from your machine for permanent vinyl.
Cut out your SVG, then weed out all of the excess vinyl, careful to weed the inside of the letters, as well.
Cut a piece of transfer tape to fit the design.
Adhere the transfer tape to the front of the cut vinyl, using a scraper or something similar to smooth everything out and adhere the vinyl to the transfer tape.
Position the vinyl onto your bottle,, doing your best to make it centered how you want it.
Use your scraper to lightly scrape over the vinyl pieces under the transfer tape, so that they adhere to the ornament.
Remove the transfer tape.
Add milk and cute straws on Christmas Eve!
