Christmas Day is a mere 10 days away. Are you ready for it? We usually do Christmas pancakes in fun shapes for breakfast, but this year we’re changing things up a bit. So, I’ve been looking around for some make ahead holiday breakfast recipes.
You see, since my daughter has her own little family now, we have a tradition where Christmas Eve is spent with all of us together. Christmas morning she spends with her husband and son and then in the afternoon, we head to his side of the family. We’ve moved the pancakes to Boxing Day when things aren’t much more relaxed around here.
We want to be able to wake up on Christmas morning and not have to fuss with making pancakes. After all, it usually means that the cook has to break away from the rest of the family and they miss out on some of the holiday magic! A make ahead holiday breakfast means none of us have to cook on Christmas Day. #Winning!
