Beach Scavenger Hunt Bingo

Welcome back to Summer Fun Fridays! If you’ve been a Creative Cynchronicity reader for a while now, you know that I love a good Bingo game. It’s just such a fun way to get kids actively involved in fun activities. Use them for exploring their city, reading more books, or just having fun.  Kind of like the sticker chart (OH did my daughter love a sticker chart), the bingo games then had the added thrill, not just of filling in the squares, but in meeting the challenge of completing a whole row. Of course, with this Beach Scavenger Hunt Bingo game, you can choose to play it any way you want.

Give out rewards for filling in a certain number of squares, for each row completed, or work together as a group to fill out the whole card. And remember, the rewards don’t have to be monetary (although our favourite is ice cream!). The prize could be as simple as being the one to choose the movie for family movie night or being allowed to stay up an extra 30 minutes past bedtime. In any case, this bingo game is fun and a great way to get everyone moving.

Depending on the type of beach you are visiting (lake vs. ocean), you might need to slightly adapt a few of the squares. You can also cut the squares apart (only using those appropriate to your location). Then have each person draw one to look for rather than using this as a standard bingo game.
