I love Advent – the anticipation leading up to Christmas is almost better than the holiday itself. My favourite Advent countdown tradition with my daughter (besides lighting the wreath) was our Advent books. I would wrap up each of our Christmas story books in paper and each day she’d get to open one – that would be our bedtime story for the night. It was so much fun for both of us.
How about you? Do you have any kind of Advent countdowns in your house? What’s your favourite kind?
