Valentine’s Day Saltine Toffee

Have you ever tried saltine toffee? It is so easy to make and so tasty! I've seen it served mostly for Christmas, but this Valentine's Day Saltine Toffee is a fun version you can serve in February.

Of course, you can change the colors and use this recipe for Christmas, Easter, Halloween, or any other holiday. It's great for parties and makes a fantastic gift.

Ingredients

  • 1 Sleeve of saltine crackers
  • 1 Cup Butter 2 sticks
  • 1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 bag Bag White Candy Melts
  • ½ bag Bag Red Candy Melts
  • ½ bag Bag Pink Candy Melts
  • Valentine Inspired Sprinkles red/pink/white

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Prepare a cookie sheet with aluminum foil, set aside.
  3. On the prepared cookie sheet, place saltine crackers in a single line, covering the whole cookie sheet.

  4. In a medium saucepan, add butter and brown sugar.

  5. Over medium heat bring to a boil, stirring frequently, for 3-4 minutes. Pour the toffee mixture over the prepared saltines. P

  6. Place in the oven for 8 minutes. While the saltines are in the oven, begin to melt the white candy melts according to the directions on the bag.

  7. Once the saltines are out of the oven, cover the toffee covered saltines with the white melted candies.

  8. Melt the pink and red candy melts in two seperate bowls according to the directions on the bag. Spread the pink and red candy melts over the white candy melts.

  9. Add Valentine’s Day sprinkles. Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours to set. Break apart into pieces.
