Ingredients

  • 16 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese I prefer “old” cheddar cheese for this
  • 1/3 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2/3 cup chopped pecans walnuts or almonds are also good choices

Instructions

  1. Use a mixer to whip the cream cheese. Use a wooden spoon to stir in remaining ingredients except nuts.
  2. Form the mixture into a ball. I find it helpful to coat my hands with non-stick cooking spray to help keep it from sticking.
  3. Roll the cheeseball in nuts. If you find that they aren’t sticking well enough, use your hands to gently press them into the ball.
  4. Wrap the cheeseball in plastic wrap and place it in the fridge for at least an hour. Take it out of the fridge about 20 minutes before serving. This will allow it to soften a bit (so it’s spreadable) and make it easier to turn into Rudolph!
