King Cake Bubble Up

King Cake Bubble Up is a variation on a traditional coffee cake style King Cake for Epiphany or Mardi Gras. Made with cinnamon rolls, this is a delicious and easy to make brunch or dessert idea!

Ingredients

  • 3 cans refrigerated Pillsbury cinnamon rolls
  • 1 8-oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs room temp
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup non-milk
  • purple yellow, green sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Spray a 9x13-inch pan with non-stick baking spray.
  3. Separate cinnamon rolls, from their containers.
  4. Place the icing to the side to use later.
  5. Cut each cinnamon roll into 4 pieces, quarters. .
  6. Place the cinnamon rolls the prepared pan, evenly.
  7. in a medium bowl add your cream cheese, and sugar.
  8. Use a hand mixer, beat together cream cheese and sugar.
  9. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  10. Add milk and mix until combined.
  11. Pour over chopped cinnamon rolls.
  12. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  13. Remove from oven and cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
  14. Spread cinnamon roll icing over top of casserole.
  15. Sprinkle with colored sugar.
