You’re invited to a virtual cookie swap!
December 6, 2011
Over at my blog, the Red Apple Tearoom we love to get together with our friends and have fun, festive parties and of course, our focus is always all about the food! During the holidays, cookie exchanges can be a fun way to hang out with friends, try out new cookies, and take some home for to add variety to our selection. Since I can’t invite you all over to my house for a cookie exchange in person, I thought we could have one there online. Since St. Nicholas is the patron saint of baking, I thought we’d have our little exchange on December 6th, his birthday. I’ll have a linky tool at The Red Apple Tearoom blog (and I’ll be sure to put a reminder and link here as well) for you to link up your favourite cookie recipe(s). I sure hope you’ll join in! To get us started, here’s a link to my St. Nicholas Day post from 2009, containing some of my favourite cookie recipes: http://islandtearoom.wordpress.com/2009/12/06/st-nicholas-the-patron-saint-of-children-and-baking/
