At the end of every year, I go through my blog and find out what posts resonated the most with all of you. Creative Cynchronicity is a community. Of course, it’s a place for me to share my thoughts, ideas, and favorite things, but it’s much more than that. I want it to be a place that serves you, my treasured readers.
I like to look at what was most popular with you so I can see what kinds of content you might like to see more of. There are some posts that are popular year after year. The paper quilling posts, for example. So, yes, there are more of those coming in 2019.
Several of my simple family friendly recipes reach the top every year, as do easy craft ideas (especially those suitable for kids) and other family fun ideas. In 2018, I’ve seen quite an increase in family travel and simple budgeting posts too. You can expect more of those in 2019!
These were the top 10 posts of 2018. If you missed these in the past year, check them out. You might just love them too! And as always, please know that I am incredibly grateful for your support!
1. Zero Points Weight Watchers Freestyle Chili Recipe.
Not on Weight Watchers? Doesn’t matter. If you want a really tasty, super easy chili recipe, this is the one for you. Lots of variations so you can customize it to your family’s preferences.
2. Christian Movies and Shows Available on Netflix
If you’re looking for family friendly, Christian content available on Netflix Canada, this is your go to resource. Updated every few months.
3. Free and Low Cost Things to Do in London Ontario
If you live in London, Ontario or you’re coming for a visit, you must check out this list! There are so many fun and inspiring things to do here that are free or very low in cost.
4. Simple and Creative Ways to Hygge in Spring
Have you embraced hygge? It’s a great way to refresh and refocus. Hygge gives you more family time, more self-care time, and more of what’s really important in life. Sometimes people only think of Hygge activities in fall and winter, but this post will show you that it can definitely be a part of your spring and summer too!
5. The Wilds Safari Park in Cumberland Ohio
It’s no wonder that this post is so popular. The Wilds is one of my favorite places to visit! If you and your family love seeing and learning more about animals, this is the place for you.
6. Mouthwatering Meatless Meals to Satisfy the Whole Family
Meatless meals in general are quite popular here on Creative Cynchronicity. I post some from time to time but you can always be sure to find more during the season of Lent. I mostly do “meat-free Fridays” all year long but I definitely stick to this during Lent. I’m thinking of doing both Meatless Mondays AND Meat Free Fridays this year so be on the lookout for even more meatless meal ideas.
7. How to Host Thanksgiving on a Budget
I love to create special occasions for my family. However, I really like for them to be simple, creative, lovely, and affordable. My philosophy is that I save money where I can so I can use that money for the things I really want to splurge on. You don’t have to sacrifice quality or fun in order to save money!
It makes me really happy that you like my reading recommendations. I am a HUGE book fan and love to talk about them with other people. Be on the lookout in the next week for THREE (yes 3!) new book related blog posts.
9. Top Campgrounds in Arkansas
Inexpensive but meaningful travel to family friendly locations are a big hit around here! Arkansas is one of our favorite travel destinations (we were just there in October!) and you’ll be hard-pressed to find friendlier people or more beautiful scenery.
10. Baked Macaroni and Cheese Bites
It’s not surprising that this recipe is so popular. It’s incredibly delicious! These mac and cheese bites are perfect to serve at parties or as a fun meal for the kids. Baking instead of frying reduces that greasy factor making them much tastier (in my opinion) and just a wee bit healthier.
Once again, thanks for being a part of the Creative Cynchronicity community. Here’s to another great year in 2019!
