The View from our Hotel

As a special gift from Santa, my daughter and I are now on a trip to Toronto.  Our main purpose in coming here is to see the National Ballet of Canada perform The Nutcracker but we’ll likely take in a few other sights as well.  These pictures show the wonderful view (although a bit overcast and snowy at the time) from our hotel.

In the photo above, you can see Nathan Phillips Square and the outdoor ice skating rink right in front of city hall.

Here is a picture of city hall.  I remember being so fascinated by its design when I was a child.  I was drawn to it every time we came to Toronto.

In the foreground is Osgoode Hall – the law school for York University.

These pictures don’t even do it justice for how beautiful the view is – oh and if I can capture it at night….it’s just magical then!  More pictures to come as we get out and about into the city.

Oh how fun! I really enjoyed looking at the (great) photos. Osgoode Hall is gorgeous. I love old building architecture and I doubt I will be in Toronto anytime soon 🙂 hugs xo
