The Ultimate Blog Party #UBP13

Welcome to Creative Cynchronicity!  My name is Cyn and this is my first time participating in the Ultimate Blog Party – a great way to find some new bloggers to follow and to connect on social media.  My blog is all about finding joy, fun, and creativity in every day through crafting, cooking, family fun, travel, and more!  I hope you’ll stick around a while and explore a bit.  I’ve got a pitcher of sweet tea right here for you!

That’s me!

A little about me:  I’m a single mom of an amazing daughter who is getting married in May 2014 to an also amazing young man.  The two of them are just graduating from university in a couple of months and I am so proud of both of them!  My daughter is going on to a year of Teacher’s College (which will give her a Bachelor’s of Education on top of her music degree) at my old alma mater.

I was a classroom teacher for about 15 years before a car accident put an end to that.  Eventually, I was encouraged by some of my friends to start sharing my craft ideas and recipes on a blog.  I love to write so it seemed like a good idea and now, nearly 4 years later, here I am.

Trinity, Midnight, Patches, Sugarplum

We have a German Shepherd named Trinity who keeps me company while my daughter’s away at university and three cats (Midnight, Patches, and Sugarplum) who have all decided to be high maintenance in their own ways.  Between that and the volunteer work I do for Charity Wings as their event coordinator and social media manager, and of course maintaining my own blogging, I’m kept pretty busy.
