We’ve always been a train family – there’s now 5 generations worth of train fans! My grandfather and dad used to build model railroads together, my dad and I used to build model railroads together, and now my nephew and his son (pictured above) are now in the process of building theirs! So of course, a few years ago when we had the chance to take our extended family on A Day out with Thomas the Tank Engine train, it was very exciting for all of us! The look on my little grand-nephew’s face when the train rolled into the station is something I’ll never forget!
For the 10th year in a row, Thomas the Tank Engine will be visiting St. Thomas, Ontario during his Day Out with Thomas™: The Thrill of the Ride Tour. He’ll stop at the Elgin County Railway Museum, with proceeds from this event – Thomas’ only stop in Ontario!!! – going to support the museum, a non-profit organization.
