It was another exciting afternoon at Monster Jam in Hamilton, Ontario! This is always a fun family activity enjoyed by all ages and it certainly didn’t disappoint. It’s such a fabulous way to connect with your family as you yell and cheer and laugh!
The racing, the jumps, the crushing of cars – what’s not to love? I think even the sounds and vibrations of the machines as they roar through the stadium make you feel the excitement from your head right down to your toes! It’s as close to being a part of it yourself as actually being behind the wheel. The anticipation as they race through the stadium – will they make their stunt or not? It’s the thing butterflies in the stomach are made of.
The kids really loved watching Gravedigger and Zombie especially. They cheered on their favourites and celebrated their winning moves.
Of course, they also really liked it when Northern Nightmare flipped over, not once but twice during the match! I’m sure Northern Nightmare didn’t really share their excitement but they thought it was pretty cool and they enjoyed watching the truck having to pull it back onto its wheels.
Monster Jam is one of the most reasonably priced family events you can go to – you get nearly 2 hours of constant excitement and entertainment and tickets start at around $20! Your kids will be talking about the fun of it for a long time to come afterwards so it’s definitely a memory making activity.
You still have another chance to see Monster Jam in action tomorrow (April 24th) at the FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton. Get your tickets here. Take my word for it – you and the kids will love it! (Just take ear protection with you – this kind of fun is awfully loud 😉 )
A huge thank you to Chris Gagen for these amazing photos!
