This weekend my daughter and son-in-law are heading to a wedding and that means I’m on deck for some grandbaby-sitting duty as needed. So, I want to get a lot of work done well ahead of time and be sure that my time is completely open and available for that. That means this weeks’ menu plan is focused on quick and easy meal ideas. Also, you may have seen me speak about SupperWorks before – it’s a meal preparation company that I use on a regular basis. Well, I’ve been invited to a blogger open house at their facilities, this Thursday, October 19th between 6 and 9 pm. Keep an eye on my Instagram account (you can find it here) and the hashtag #SupperWorks for an insider peek into this amazing service.
Monday – We’re having the last of our Hawaiian burgers from SupperWorks. They are served with grilled pineapple and peameal bacon on them (just like ones served at one of my favourite restaurants). Oven fries. Pickles. Coleslaw.
Tuesday – (Family Favourite) Chicken Parmesan Meatballs and Spaghetti (I make extra of the meatballs whenever I make this recipe so I have some in the freezer ready to go), Caesar salad, garlic bread (save extra for Thursday)
Wednesday – Slow Cooker Apple Bacon Pork Chops, egg noodles, peas, corn
Thursday – One Pot Sausage Penne Pasta, steamed carrots, sauteed green beans, garlic bread (leftover from Tuesday)
Friday – (Meat Free Friday) Cheesy Spinach Quiche (I make this ahead of time and freeze it; we leave out the mushrooms), tossed salad, fruit cocktail
Saturday – out for dinner
Sunday – Slow Cooker Balsamic Pork Roast (saving the leftovers for next week!), roasted sweet potatoes with bacon and Parmesan, Brussels sprouts
I have linked up with Menu Plan Monday over at Orgjunkie.com. It’s a GREAT place to find a bunch of menu ideas sure to please a variety of tastes and dietary needs. Head on over and check it out.
