Well the big day is almost here! Are you ready for it? My menu plan this week takes into account those last minute details that need to be taken care of when it comes to Christmas and looks for ways to make meals as convenient and easy as possible. No Meat Free Friday this week since that’s Christmas Day. How about you? Do you have all your meal planning and grocery shopping done?

Monday – Tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, raw veggies

Tuesday – Impossibly easy chicken pot pie, tossed salad

Wednesday – Neapolitan baked pasta, broccoli, carrots

Thursday – Christmas Eve: Our traditional meal of Tourtiere (French Canadian meat and pork pie), Caesar salad, French onion soup. The pie and the soup are already prepared and in the freezer so it will be a quick, easy meal to pull out and heat up before heading off to church.

Friday – Christmas Day: Glazed ham, bacon wrapped green beans, stuffing muffins, cranberry sauce, sweet potato salad, broccoli cauliflower salad, 7Up biscuits, pumpkin swirl,  maple apple cheddar pie

Saturday – Leftovers from yesterday

Sunday – Roast chicken (save extras for next week), mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots

What are you planning to serve this week? Share them in the comments.

And if you’re celebrating Christmas this week, have a very happy one!
