I’m Kiki (Kelly-Ann) Halbert and I live in Ottawa Ontario with my husband, dog and 2 cats.
I’ve been involved in digital scrapbooking since 2004, and started designing and selling my own digital scrapbook products in 2006.
I became involved in fine arts and paper crafts in the summer of 2011, first with art journaling, and now with mixed media.
I create mixed media art work, art journals and art journal pages, and hybrid (digital scrapbook elelments printed at home and used in a project) paper craft projects. I love to work with different textures (the messier the better) and media in my projects. I have a weakness for Prima and Basic Grey products, especially pretty flowers and trinkets.
For my project which I’ll be demonstrating at 5:15 pm, I’ll be showing you how to incorporate scrapbook papers and elements into an art journal page, using texture paste, neocolour II crayons and various scrapbook products.

Cyn Gagen: My world is a place of creativity, sharing, teaching, learning, laughter, love, family, food, and making every day fun! I come from a very close-knit family and learned my crafting skills from my mother and my love of nature from my father. I honed my cooking skills alongside both of my grandmothers and I think my constant curiosity (or perhaps it’s my persistence) comes from years of following my older brother and sister around, trying to join in on whatever they were doing! I love to look at items that might normally be thrown away and think, now what could I make out of that? (the answer often coming in the middle of the night!!!). I enjoy sharing my creativity with others and even when I am the teacher, I always learn something and take something new away with me from the experience. You can find me at http://cynchronicity.wordpress.com Cyn’s bookbinding demonstration will be at 4:30 pm.
