Greeting Cards and Collage frame

Included in my package from the www.dollarstorecrafts.com Super Secret Stashbusting Challenge were 2 pieces of this pretty pink paper with a bit of a sheen to it and a cardboard sheet of tags that you punch out to use.  I tried to find some unique ways to use those items in what I was making.

I cut one of the sheets of paper in fourths and used it as one of the layers in some greeting cards I made.  I began by folding a card out of some paper I had on hand and then layered on the paper from the envelope as well as some other scrapbooking papers I already had.  I added some images and a few butterflies punched out of scraps.  Then, there were some tags in the cardboard sheet of tags that had no holes in them so I put one of those on each of the greeting cards to make a frame to hold some word stickers.

I used the second sheet of pink paper as the background for a collage frame.  The collage frame utilizes the waste cardboard that is left after you punch out the tags from it to form the various little sections of the collage.

glossy paper

The glossy pink paper glued to a piece of cardboard from a cereal box to form a base for the collage.

I embellished this frame with images, stickers with sayings on them, some pressed flowers, butterflies punched from scraps, and some paper quilling shapes.
