Hello! Welcome back to another Menu Plan Monday! The weather has finally given us a taste of fall and so we’re looking to add some warming, comfort foods to the lineup. We’re also hosting a few guests over the weekend. It’s my grandson’s baptism and we have family coming from as far as Arkansas and Tennessee. We want to serve a few meals that are easy and inexpensive enough to feed a crowd on a busy schedule. What are you up to this week?
Monday – Meat loaf, egg noodles, spinach
Tuesday – Happy Halloween! It’s a quiet one for us this year but here’s what we’ve served in previous years. This year, it’s roast chicken with potatoes and carrots
Wednesday – Zesty pork chops and rice, peas, corn
Thursday – Chicken and dumplings (used leftover chicken from Tuesday), green beans
Friday – Neapolitan Pasta Casserole. Caesar salad. Garlic bread.
Saturday – Slow cooker beef stew. Dinner rolls.
Sunday – It will be a very long tiring weekend. We’re ordering in!
