Fab Find Friday: Scrapfest Goodies

I arrived at Scrapfest in Kitchener, Ontario at 4:30 pm to register and get this party started!  After meeting up with Roberta, first up was receiving our VIP swag bags filled with paper crafting goodies.

Some of the swag we received; I also won a new pair of Westcott Titanium scissors!

We still had an hour and half before our first workshop began, so the next thing we did was to hit the marketplace.  I had a very specific list of things that I needed to find:  Suzi Blu stamps, Claudine Hellmuth stamps, and some more bottles of Beacon’s Three in One glue.  I was thrilled to find all 3 at The Art House Studio.  It didn’t surprise me, though – Karen always has the most amazing things at her booth!

As we wandered through a few other booths, I found some other goodies as well.  Those of you who have seen my live webcasts may know how much I love the line from We R Memory Keepers that includes the Sew Easy and the Sew Ribbon.  Well, at the Younique booth, I found the Sew Stamper, a self-inking stamp roller.  I’m so excited to try it out.  I added a few packs of Glubers (like extra large Glue Dots), some clear squares for making charms, and some Maya Road dress form shaped paper clips.

I also found this goodie pack filled with all kinds of mixed media embellishments at Younique– it was a bargain at only $10!

Stay tuned for future blog posts to see these amazing items in action – I’m pretty sure some of them will also be making an appearance in my giveaway packs on my show, Creative Cynchronicity Live, Wednesday nights at 9 pm Eastern.  Sign in here for the show: http://www.linqto.com/rooms/creativeedventures.

Many thanks to my sponsor, The Hive, for helping to make this Scrapfest adventure possible!  The Hive is an arts, crafts, and hobbies social community that brings together manufacturers, professional artists, hobbyists, retailers, and consumers.  Discover new blogs, import yours to a new audience, join some of the craft specific groups to talk to others who share the same interests – all of that and more at The Hive.  Check it out at:  http://creatingthehive.com/signup/cyngagen and tell them that Cyn sent you!
