Happy Earth Day!  One of my favourite ways of recycling is to turn something that would normally be tossed away into a piece of art.  Check out my 5 favourite recycled crafts below!

    Where are the links for how these are made? I’ve searched on several different blogs. Why post it if you won’t link it?!

      I apologize. Unfortunately, when I moved to my own domain some of these links became “dead” and I didn’t realize it. I have now updated all the links I can (the first one was for a website I was featured on which no longer exists) and you should be able to find these projects now.

      They are so much fun to make and really quite easy. Once you get the knack, you can make them more elaborate too!

    Wow, those are great! I love repurposing stuff that can be made into something useful or decorative!
    I can’t believe how cool that necklace is and that the cake stands are made out of cd’s and cups?!!!
    Amazing(;

      Thanks. I’m working on some silhouettes of my daughter and her fiance to use at their wedding too. I’m making ones of them when they were little and ones now. 🙂

      I’ve made them for a variety of themes and will be making a ton for my daughter’s wedding shower. We used them at her Marie Antoinette and Alice in Wonderland themed parties as well.

    I love all of these ideas and am always up for a quick, fun craft project!!! My favorite, though, is the bowl made from magazine pages. I’ve seen these in the store before (bowls, baskets, etc.) and have always wanted one, but have never purchased one. Now I don’t have to! Now, I plan on making my own and even possibly making them as Christmas gifts.
