ENJOY A DAY OF FAMILY FUN WITH THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE™ AT THE ST. THOMAS ELGIN MEMORIAL CENTRE ON JULY 12, 13 and 14, 2019

All aboard! Thomas the Tank Engine is once again rolling back into St. Thomas, Ontario for a day of engaging activities and fun adventures at Day Out With Thomas: The Steam Team Tour 2019. 

Children are invited to spend a day with their friend Thomas when the #1 Engine pulls into the St. Thomas Elgin Memorial Centre in St. Thomas, Ontario on July 12, 13 and 14, 2019 for a Day Out With Thomas: The Steam Team Tour 2019, presented by Mattel.

We have attended for years now – beginning with when my grand nephew was a little one (he’s now 12!!!) and continuing through my grand nieces and now my grandson as well. Every single time it has been a wonderful experience full of memory-making fun for the whole family.

More than just a train ride! (Although a pretty awesome train ride!)

This fun-filled event offers children and their families the opportunity to take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends™ series. In addition, they will meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities including toy play, photo ops, and more. 

This year, Bob the Builder will be joining Thomas at the St. Thomas event for three stage shows and meet & greet sessions each day during the event.  This addition to the event is made possible thanks to support from the Celebrate Ontario grant program.

So, as you can see, it’s not just a train ride – although, come on!!! A train ride with Thomas the Tank Engine is pretty amazing all by itself. Our littles really loved receiving a ‘Passport to Adventures’ booklet for to track their journey at the event. It was a lot of fun to collect those stamps in their passports and then receive a special prize upon completion.

Other Thomas & Friends-themed activities this year include toy play, photo ops, temporary tattoos, the bubble zone and the Reptilia mobile reptile zoo.
