adobaOk well only virtually but still….I’m going to Dearborn, Michigan this week on a blogger trip and am so excited to share it with you. I can’t wait. I live so close to Michigan and yet, the places I’ll be visiting, I’ve never been to before!!! Note – I’m being provided with free accommodations, admission, and other compensation for attending this trip but as always, you know I’ll be sharing my honest opinions and ideas about the trip!

What will I be sharing with you?

I’ll be staying at the adoba hotel Dearborn/Detroit and from what I’ve seen of it so far, this is going to be a fantastic experience. It sounds positively gorgeous with its beautiful glass exterior and amazing atrium lobby.  I think what I’m most excited about is the adoba’s commitment as an environmentally friendly hotel while remaining high quality accommodations.

We’ll be having dinner at Giulios & Sons Restaurant which is in the adoba hotel. I’ve seen photos of some of the meals posted on Instagram and my mouth is watering already!

I’m a history buff so of course a highlight of the trip will be a visit to the Henry Ford Museum/Greenfield Village. Greenfield Village is divided into 7 historical districts so that you get to travel through time seeing how people lived over the past 300 years in the United States. The Henry Ford currently has an exhibit called Driving America that talks about the influence the automobile has had on society.

Finally, I’ve heard that we’re going to be checking out the Fairlane Town Center too.- shopping, theaters, dining – sounds like it pretty much has it all!

So be sure to follow along with me on Twitter and Instagram to tag along as I explore Dearborn!
