Biannual Blogathon Bash Followup

Biannual Blogathon Bash Well, I got nothing done.  Not one single thing on my “to do list” that I posted on Friday.  I’m so disappointed because during the last Blogathon, I accomplished SO much.  But then again, I wasn’t battling health issues at the time.  For those of you who don’t know, I’m supposed to be in California right now. I went there earlier this month and was supposed to stay for 3 weeks.  A couple days after arriving in Anaheim,  I was hit with the flu.  The flu developed into pneumonia. That led to a staph infection. Then my Crohns flared up. Finally, by this past Friday night, I developed strep throat.  Once that happened, that was it for the Blogathon.

BUT I’m an upbeat optimistic person and I’m not letting this get me down!!! Ok, so I can’t take part in the official Blogathon – that doesn’t mean I have to throw in the towel, does it? Of course not! So, this coming weekend is going to be my own personal Blogathon.  While I’m at it, being the 1st of this month this weekend, it is just a perfect time to do a quick check in as to where I stand on my goals for the year.  What about you? Do you have any goals you’re currently working on? When was the last time you sat down and did a quick check-in with yourself to assess where you’re at with them? Remember, there’s nothing wrong with regrouping, revising, or even just starting over on your goals.

Some questions I’ll be asking myself:

What steps have I accomplished in reaching my goal thus far?

What have I struggled with in working towards my goal?

What is holding me back when it comes to working on my goal?

What is going to be my next step in reaching my goal?
