I have a friend who wins tons of contests and giveaways. She even won a new car once from a radio station scavenger hunt. A lot of our mutual friends always talk about “touching her arm” in hopes that some of the luck will rub off on them! What about you? What “lucky” things have happened to you?
Well, here’s another chance for you to try your luck. Kinder Canada has released some new Kinder Surprise eggs to celebrate the launch of their new toy collections. There are more than $2.4 million in instant prizes to win! Look for the specially-marked Crack n’ Win Kinder Surprise Classic and Pink eggs in stores.
Just crack open that yummy Kinder Surprise egg and look for a PIN embossed right on the toy inside and/or on the toy leaflet.
Once you find your code, it’s OH SO EASY to enter the contest. Just head on over to the Kinder Canada’s Facebook Page (be sure to like the page if you haven’t already!) and then enter your PIN code and other requested info. Click “Check Your Pin” and boosh! You’ve entered the contest! One lucky Kinder fan will win a Fiat 500 POP, two will win a family trip to Orlando, over 27,000 will win a family night out to the movies, and 201,000 fans will win a free Kinder treat! Talk about lucky!!!
I consider myself lucky for many reasons, not the least of which is that I have a fantastic family and friends. I’m also lucky because I’m a Kinder Mom and I get to share all kinds of Kinder goodness with my loved ones. So, to pass along these delicious Kinder Surprise eggs, I decided to make some cute little heart boxes and nestle an egg in each one to present to them for Valentine’s Day.
Here’s the pattern. Dashed lines are folds and solid lines are cuts. I print this out, adjusting the sizing to whatever I’m going to put into it and use it as a template for my construction or scrapbooking paper.
Get the kids involved and they can dress up the boxes with some colouring, paints, glitter, bling, and anything else you’d like! I put a little shredded paper in the bottom of the box to make a bit of a nest for the egg to sit in. I like to use some double sided tape (my favourite is the red tape called Terrifically Tacky Tape) to seal up the side and bottom of the box. Then the heart on top simply interlocks together to close it.
Fill the boxes up with Kinder Surprise Crack ‘n’ Win eggs and you can share the luck (and the tasty chocolate and toy surprise) with your family and friends this Valentine’s Day. Good luck!
